Contemporary Japanese Restaurant

Yuu Japanese Tapas · Richmond, BC

Keeping a beloved local restaurant discoverable, visible in search, and fully booked.

The challenge

A distinctive dining experience whose online presence needed to work as hard as its kitchen.

What we did

  • hosting and ongoing technical care
  • performance and uptime management
  • Google Ads targeting local dining searches
  • ad-spend optimization

The outcome

A stable, well-maintained digital presence paired with local campaigns that consistently bring new and returning guests to Yuu.

Student-Led Education Nonprofit

Youth Tutoring Foundation · Community

A student founder — now running her own platform.

The challenge

A high-school founder with a real mission — free peer tutoring for students who can't afford it — and no professional home online, no coding background, and one worry every young founder has: "If someone builds it for me, will I be stuck needing them forever?"

What we did

  • sponsored full custom website (~$2,000 in-kind)
  • a team system she manages herself
  • a highly practical operations guide and hands-on handover

The outcome

She runs it herself — adds her team, manages requests, keeps the site current. What started as "someone please build me a website" became "I run my own organization's platform."

"Working with Vicky was a great experience… Would I recommend her? Yes, absolutely."

— Ayumi, Founder, Youth Tutoring Foundation

This is AI stepping into a young person's world — opening an unexpected door for their dreams, ideas, and inventions.

Youth Volunteer String Ensemble

VanString · C&K Music Conservatory

A home online as warm as the music — for teenagers who play for seniors.

The challenge

A student-led volunteer ensemble that has brought live strings to senior residences, hospitals and communities since 2009 needed a website that made it easy for venues to invite them and for young musicians to join — and that the students could keep current as leadership changes each year.

What we did

  • custom-coded website built around the ensemble's own brief
  • clear "Invite Us to Perform" and "Join VanString" paths
  • performance, team and impact sections that tell the ensemble's story
  • a leadership and bios section designed to update from a Google Sheet

The outcome

Live at vanstring.com, with a clear next step for every visitor — a venue booking a performance or a young musician joining. Once the school gives final approval, the student leaders update their own team and bios from a simple spreadsheet — no code, no waiting on a developer.

Spinal Decompression Clinic

DRX Disc Centre · Vancouver, BC

A clear digital front door for a focused treatment center.

The challenge

A dedicated treatment center that needed its own clear, credible web presence — distinct from its sister clinic, and easy for the right patients to find and understand.

What we did

  • website build
  • service-focused content structure
  • ongoing care and updates

The outcome

A focused site that explains a specialized treatment plainly and gives prospective patients a confident next step.

BrightNotes Studio

Digital Product Brand · Our own brand

From zero to first sales in 14 days.

The challenge

Could one person, working with AI, take a product brand from nothing — no audience, no ads, no following — to real revenue?

What we did

  • brand identity and watercolor design system
  • digital music-education product line
  • storefront setup and product optimization

The outcome

First sales to complete strangers within 14 days of opening, with zero marketing spend — proof of the studio's full-stack approach, from brand to product to sale.

Personal Finance App

The Freedom Roadmap · Student Project

A teenager built a savings app to help other teenagers start saving.

The challenge

Most teenagers are never taught how to save toward something big — only that they should. The student wanted to build the tool they wished existed: something that makes long-term saving visible, trackable, and a habit rather than a lecture.

What the student built

  • a working sinking-fund tracker with live recalculation
  • a "Freedom Runway" metric showing how long savings would last
  • month-by-month planned-vs-actual tracking
  • account reconciliation
  • four languages and eight themes
  • CSV export and local-only data storage

The outcome

A finished app the student built end to end — and is now considering releasing as a product of their own. My role was coaching: the code, the decisions, and the product are theirs.

International Health-Advocacy Nonprofit

Launching 2026

Building a digital home for a mission the world needs to find.

The challenge

A founder with a worldwide mission and a community of people who too often go unseen — and no digital home capable of carrying either.

What we're building

  • full custom platform
  • consent-aware story architecture
  • self-serve content hub the team edits without touching code
  • bilingual-ready build
  • first-year care plan

The outcome

In build now — launching 2026. Full case study published at launch, with the client's blessing.

Specialized Healthcare Clinic

Vancouver, BC

Steady, professional care for a specialized practice.

The challenge

A specialized clinic whose online presence needed to reflect the precision of the care inside it — without the owner managing any of the technical side.

What we did

  • website care and content maintenance
  • ongoing marketing support and strategic planning
  • operational syncs that kept patient-facing communications aligned

The outcome

A consistent, professionally presented presence throughout our engagement — and an owner free to focus on patients instead of backend upkeep.

Some clients are presented without names. In healthcare, we treat client confidentiality the way clinics treat patient confidentiality — every project shown here is real, and every named client gave their blessing.
